Back in 2018, we kept running into the same problem. Talented developers would join tech companies across Taiwan, only to struggle with database fundamentals that weren't covered in traditional computer science programs.
The gap was real. Companies needed professionals who could design efficient schemas, optimize complex queries, and maintain data integrity under pressure. But most training programs focused on theory without practical application.
So we did something different. We partnered with working database administrators from major Taiwanese companies to create hands-on curricula based on actual business challenges. No academic fluff – just the skills that matter in real environments.
Our first cohort in 2019 had twelve participants. Word spread quickly when those professionals started implementing what they'd learned and seeing immediate improvements in their database performance. That's when we knew we were onto something meaningful.
Today, we focus on practical database management education that bridges the gap between academic knowledge and workplace requirements. Our programs evolve constantly based on feedback from both students and the companies that hire them.
